Missional Grant Application for Churches
God has greatly blessed us and we are called to be a blessing to others. We have been sent out into the world to love, care and serve others in Christ’s name and to share with them the good news of the gospel.
The Presbytery of South Alabama has been given the opportunity to encourage and support efforts of our congregations to become more mission-shaped and mission- minded by offering grant money to seed purposeful mission activities. These monies are to be used specifically in mission activities or projects outside and beyond the church walls.
The Visioning Division will prioritize mission initiatives that are submitted and this will determine how the grant monies are allocated. (Date to be determined)
Grant amounts: ordinarily up to $1,000.00
After twelve months of receipt of grant, a second grant of up to $1,500 is possible if the missional project is making progress towards expected goals and objectives.
